had an amazing family holiday in Flam, and Gjorven Hytter Villa exceeded our expectations! The cozy house had all the facilities we needed, the hostess was incredibly helpful and even drove us around. The view from the porch was beautiful and the kitchen was fully equipped. Will definitely stay longer next time!

The view from Gjorven Hytter was absolutely breathtaking, with a beautiful waterfall and stunning scenery. The cabin itself was spacious and had all the amenities we needed, including a well-stocked kitchen. The host was great at communicating with us throughout the process, making our stay hassle-free. We enjoyed cooking dinner and dining on the balcony while taking in the amazing views. Despite being away from the touristy center of Flam, we found it to be a unique and relaxing experience. I highly recommend staying at Gjorven Hytter for a peaceful getaway.

The cottages at Gjørven Hytter are so cozy and charming! The traditional style gives them a warm and homely feel. I loved having a well-equipped kitchen, it made cooking meals with my family so easy. The private bathroom with a shower in every unit was a great convenience too.
Personally, I would have preferred a bathtub instead of just a shower in the private bathroom. But hey, that's just my preference.

I had an amazing stay at Gjorven Hytter! The cabin was beautifully done with natural wood, and the view of the river, waterfall, and sheep-filled pasture was breathtaking. The owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The peacefulness of the location, away from the crowds in Flam, was just what we needed. The hike along the river was absolutely stunning. I highly recommend this cabin for a serene and beautiful getaway.

The owner was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. the brand new kitchen was a pleasant surprise, and the view of the river and waterfall was absolutely breathtaking. the cottage was a decent size and provided plenty of space for our Christmas celebration.
Although the view made up for it, the proximity to the railway meant that we could occasionally hear the trains passing by. the location was a bit further away from the main tourist area, requiring a 45-minute walk or a short taxi ride to reach.

We had a wonderful stay at Gjorven Hytter Villa. the hut was spacious and cozy, with a fantastic balcony that offered breathtaking views of the valley, Flam church, and a stunning waterfall. the kitchen was fully equipped, and we loved the convenience of the electro-barbeque. the owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. the location was perfect, close enough to the Flam railway and the Myrdal-Flam bike route, yet far away from the overcrowded tourist spots by the harbor. the lack of wifi was actually refreshing, but there was free wifi available at the harbor Mall if needed. We highly recommend trying out the delicious pastries at the Flam bakery!
Nothing not to love! 😊.

The cottages at Gjørven Hytter are cozy and charming, with a traditional style that instantly made me feel at home. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to whip up delicious meals, and having a private bathroom with a shower in every unit was a convenient perk. I loved the comfortable and homely vibes of these cottages!
The only downside, in my opinion, was that the private bathroom with a shower was a bit small. But hey, it's just my personal preference and others might not mind it at all!

We had a fantastic stay at a cozy cabin with ample space and comfortable beds. The large bathroom was a plus. The hostess went above and beyond by providing transportation to and from the station, which was extremely helpful. The location was stunning, with breathtaking views of mountains and waterfalls. It was a 25-minute walk to the town, but we didn't mind as the walk along the river was lovely.
